The Fit for the Future Olympian Grant is a new financial aid program. It gives athletes extra money on top of the support they already get from the International Olympic Committee (IOC), National Olympic Committees (NOCs), and other sports groups.
Who gets it?
- Around 14,000 Olympians are expected to qualify during each four-year Olympic cycle.
- AND… athletes receive $10,000 USD for each Olympic Games they compete in.
The IOC will prepare to open the grant application process in time for Milano Cortina 2026 at the end of this year, with the first payments being made in 2027.
