About ZAA
The Zimbabwe Archery Association (ZAA) is the nationally recognized body for archery in Zimbabwe.
We are proud members in good standing of the World Archery Federation, the IOC-recognized world governing body for archery, and World Archery Africa.
As the sole authority for the sport in the country, the Zimbabwe Archery Association (ZAA) is affiliated with the Zimbabwe Sports and Recreation Commission (SRC) and the Zimbabwe Olympic Committee (ZOC).
Our competitions and standards are strictly aligned with World Archery and Olympic rules, providing our athletes a direct pathway to the international stage.
Vision
“To promote, develop, encourage, direct and control the sport of Archery in Zimbabwe, in accordance with the honorable tradition and spirit of this ancient sport, regardless of race, creed or political opinion amongst all sections of the community with the object of promoting all archers physical health. ”.
Mission
“To arrange and control all National Archery Teams, at all levels participating in international Archery Tournament / Events competitions; to arrange and control external and internal tours involving National Teams at all levels, interprovincial tournament and festivals, and to assist in the arrangement and control of related matters of all disciplines competed throughout Zimbabwe.”

World Archery Africa (WAAf) or Formerly the Federation of African Archery (FAA) is the continental Association and the governing body for the Olympic and Paralympic sport of archery in the African Continent.
