Welcome to the Zimbabwe Archery Association web site. This site will contain all information ,schedules / events, results, practice timetables and much more information with relevance to Archery in Zimbabwe. Each Regional area can post their results and activities, for the rest of the country to be informed of the progress the archery sport has attained in Zimbabwe.
The Zimbabwe Archery Association is affiliated to the Zimbabwe Sports and Recreation Commission (SCR), Zimbabwe Olympic Committee (ZOC) and the world governing body, World Archery (WA).
Currently, Target archery gatherings are held at the Harare Rifle Club along Arcturus Road Near Chikurubi and at Jam Tree, Mt Pleasant most weekends.
NASP - (National archery in the schools program) is held at many of the schools at both a senior and junior level.
Field Archery / 3D, in it's beginnings of forming a stable club meet once a month, times and dates will be on the schedule of events.
Harare rifle club archery section - range is open to members daily, though it is most active at the weekends from 8:30 am till 11 ish. First weekend of each month a "try archery day" is organised, this is very popular, bookings are essential.
In Field and Target archery - Longbows, Recurve and Compound bows are welcome.
